Formed in the spring of 1995 by vocalist/ guitarist Tommy Lugo, joined by Bob Foreman in 1998, Stellarscope have the rare ability to combine quality space-pop and lavish surreally (and , yes, even white noise) to achieve an ecclesiastic-orgiastic frenzy.

Influenced by such bands as My Bloody Valentine, Charterhouse, Radiohead,
Joy Division, The Pixies, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction,
the Velvet Underground, the Cure, Yes, Genesis, U2, Ride, Slowdive, Spacemen3, Spiritualized, Soda Stereo, Gustavo Cerati, Gang of Four, the Moody Blues, Loveliescrushing, Miles Davis, jesus and mary chain, John Coltrane, The Beattles, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Mission UK, London suede, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, old school Bad Religion, the Doors, and the Verve, they have an innate ability to create textured soundscapes that border on the psychedelic.

Unlike most bands of the genre, Stellarscope relies heavily on straight ahead vocal conviction, giving the songs a sense of grounded-ness when the chaos of sounds ensue. They have been playing the East Coast on a regular basis for many years now, honing they're live, bliss-out sounds, and has released 4 full-lengths.

We want to be ADORED!

We are here to rock your world...
...come and drown in a sea of lush noise!
