HISTORY | |
Releese,
a band joined by a singular cause and a common ambition. Rock and roll,
the pulse that guides them onto many creative avenues in the Rembrandt
style of classic rock, it also combines and forges with the sounds of
today. Every musical venture taken by its four founders leaves them more
closely bound by the cause in which they play... It's a physical, mental,
and spiritual RELEESE.

GENERAL INFO. | |
Breakout
Productions are proud to present Releese, a powerful new rock band . Based
in Ft. Lauderdale, Releese consists of four very talented musicians who
have built a large and steady following in the Ft. Lauderdale area.
W. Damian Mazur is the producer of the album "Ghost". Damian, a long time industry professional has worked with many of the top names in the industry. He was very instrumental in achieving the successful production of our maiden album with tremendous technical and artistic input. Currently Releese is enjoying being played regularly on Zeta 94 FM, South Florida's premier rock station, on Zeta goes local. We also have a regular rotation on Radio X at Nova University. We have been submitted and accepted at other college radio stations and will soon be getting more air play. Releese has opened for a number of "signed" bands such as Crease, Non Point, Crush Down, Darwins waiting Room, Big Sky and Finger 11 and has been received very strongly. Having played at such places as the "Culture Room", "The Metal Factory", "Chilli Pepper's", "Hard Rock Café", "Geronimo's", "Lord Nelson's", "Sawgrass Tavern" and more, we have built a large local following and are now looking to broaden our audience throughout the world. We are presently in negotiations for a self-produced show featuring popular unsigned local bands at a large-size venue in Ft. Lauderdale. We are also speaking with a number of colleges for a college tour such as University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University, University of Florida, and Florida State. We are going to continue these discussions with other eastern Universities in preparation of an East Coast College tour this fall. With the band less than a year old, they have accomplished a polish that few see in that period. The masterful songwriting of founding members Frank Marciante, lead guitarist, and the searing voice of co-songwriter Rusty Hanna on vocals, the band is built on a solid foundation with the inspired bass playing by Stu Cox and the high energy drumming of Tony Wood. Powerful rhythm tracks underscore strong leads and poignant lyrics. They will take you alternately from the gut wrenching rock of "Ghost" (the title track of their debut album ) to the emotional and tender "Mother", an acoustic masterpiece. Our hard and progressive sound has been compared to bands such as Seven Mary 3, Stone Temple Pilots, and Fuel. All our music is original and played with passion and fire. |
