Straight outta the icy northern land of Canada comes an aggressive punk band called Resistance, and this is their story........

With a unique blend of raging female vocals, blaring California-influenced guitars, drums that will rattle you beyond recovery, and a fierce, energetic live show promising lots of sweat, energy, and sometimes blood, Resistance is ready to take the world by storm.

Formed in 2000, Resistance consists of Nicole Skalesky (vocals and bass), Jeff Chartier (guitar), Steve Hallick (drums), and newest addition TJ Stevenson (guitar and vocals). The intelligently crafted lyrics add the finishing touches, with powerful, emotionally driven lines that scream stories of hardships and social squalor.
The band has toured western Canada, made several visits to Ontario, and are continually preparing for more and more touring. Such recent achievements include radio air-play, television appearances, a sponsorship from Contraband Clothing, songs on various compilations and an article about the band published in their hometown newspaper.

They have played with many great bands such as Tsunami Bomb (kung-fu records), Belvedere (union label), Downway (session), Sixty Stories (smallman records), Affront (Phyte Records) and are planning Canadian shows with local friends One Shot Left (Meter Records). The band's first official release is an 8-song E.P. to be released on lonely tree records.
